Mount Cleary is a 1400 m high mountain in East Antarctica Victoria Land . At the northern foothills of the Endeavor massif in the Kirkwood Range, it towers over the Pa Tio Tio Gap to the south.
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him on November 4, 1999 after Peter Cleary, who worked in various functions in Antarctica between 1978 and 1984 as part of the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program .
