Mount Dal'nyy ( English ; Russian Гора Дальняя Gora Dalnaja , German 'Distant Mountain' ) is a mountain in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . In the Tula Mountains it rises 9 km east-northeast of Mount Selwood .
Aerial photographs were taken in 1957 and 1958 during campaigns by the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . Scientists on a Soviet Antarctic expedition photographed him again in 1962 and gave him his name. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia translated this designation into English.
