The Mount DeWitt is a 2190 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises immediately west of Mount Littlepage in the Head Mountains on the edge of the polar plateau .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1964 after Hugh H. DeWitt, scientific director on the icebreaker USNS Eltanin between 1958 and 1959.
