Mount Dodge is a 1760 m high and mostly ice-free mountain peak in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises from a ridge that extends north from the Prince Olav Mountains in the Queen Maud Mountains at the confluence of the Holzrichter and Gough glaciers .
Members of a team to explore the Ross Ice Shelf (1957-1958) under the direction of the US geophysicist Albert P. Crary (1911-1997) discovered the mountain. It is named after the American mycologist Carroll William Dodge (1895–1988), who was instrumental in researching lichens and their parasites as part of the second Antarctic expedition (1933–1935) of polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd .
