Clydesdale Bank 40 2010
The Clydesdale Bank 40 2010 is the first national List A cricket competition to be held in England . The competition was held between April 25 and September 18, 2011 between the 18 English first-class counties and three additional teams. In the final Warwickshire was able to prevail against Surrey with 3 wickets .
format
The 21 teams were drawn into three groups of 7 teams each, in which each team competed twice against each other. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw or no result and no point for a loss. The best of each group as well as the best runner-up qualified for the semi-finals, where the winner was then played out in the knockout system.
