Mount Elara is a 665 m high mountain in Ganymede Heights on Alexander I Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises south of the Moutonnée Valley .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after Jupiter's moon Elara in 2002 .
