Mount Emerson is a 2190 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 8 km east-southeast of Brewer Peak in the southern part of the DuBridge Range in the Admiralty Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after George L. Emerson, who in 1967 was responsible for metalwork at McMurdo Station .
