Mount Gow is a 1770 m high mountain in Victoria Land, East Antarctica . It rises on the east flank of the Rennick Glacier in the Bowers Mountains and marks the western end of a series of steep heights between the confluence of the Carryer and Sledgers Glaciers into the Rennick Glacier.
The area was mapped through the United States Geological Survey and aerial photography from the United States Navy from 1960 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain after the American glaciologist Anthony J. Gow, who was a member of the scientific staff at Byrd Station , Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station and McMurdo Station between 1959 and 1969 .
