The Mount Hamilton is a mountain in the US state of California and part of the Diablo Range . With a height of 1,327 meters, it is the highest point in Santa Clara County and the entire San Francisco Bay Area .
The mountain was named after the Presbyterian priest Laurentine Hamilton .
The Lick Observatory and other visitor facilities are located at the top of Mount Hamilton .
