Mount Harcourt is a 1,535 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises about 8 km east of Mount Kyffin in the Commonwealth Range .
Participants in the Nimrod expedition (1907-1909), led by the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton, discovered him. The mountain is named after the British politician Robert Venables Vernon Harcourt (1878-1962), a member of the lower house of the Liberal Party , who had campaigned for the British government to support the Nimrod expedition financially.
