The Mount Hypothesis ( English , Bulgarian връх Хипотеза wrach Chipotesa ) is a 1076 m high mountain at the Nordenskjöld Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 2.9 km southeast of Mount Elliott , 6.1 km northeast of Storgosia Nunatak and 5 km east of Sgorigrad Nunatak east and south of Mundraga Bay . Its rocky northern slopes are striking.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2020 in recognition of the importance of a hypothesis for expanding scientific knowledge.
