The Mundraga Bay (English, Bulgarian залив Мундрага saliw Mundraga ; in the UK Rott Inlet ) is a 23 km long and 28.6 km wide bay at the Nordenskjöld Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is east of Fothergill Point and west of Cape Sobral .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2011 after a medieval fortress in northeastern Bulgaria . In contrast, the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2012 after the Austrian glaciologist Helmut Rott from the University of Innsbruck , who had dealt with the breakup of the Larsen Ice Shelf .
