Mount Jones is a 1260 m high mountain in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . It is the northernmost elevation in the Clark Mountains belonging to the Ford Ranges .
He was discovered while flying over the West Base during the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939-1941). The mountain is named after the American geographer Clarence Fielden Jones (1893–1991) from Clark University .
