The Clark Mountains comprise a series of low mountains around 1200 m in height, which are located about 15 km east of the Allegheny Mountains in the Ford Ranges of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land .
They were discovered during the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939-1941) during overflights from West Base . They are named after Clark University in Worcester , Massachusetts .
