Mount Krebs is a prominent 1630 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises 4 miles north of Mount Daniel from the main ridge of the Lillie Range .
Members of a team to explore the Ross Ice Shelf (1957-1958) under the direction of the US geophysicist Albert P. Crary (1911-1997) discovered him. Crary named the mountain after Commander Manson Krebs (1922-1963), pilot of the United States Navy's VX-6 squadron in several Deep Freeze operations .
