Treasure find from Gjerrild
The treasure trove of Gjerrild ( Danish Gjerrild-skatten ) is an archaeological find from the Viking Age (800-1050 AD), the 1986 when plowing over the long hill Brokhøj near the Gjerrild Klint , a rock formation on North Djursland in Jutland in Denmark was found.
It contained 81 pieces of silver, 66 of which were coins or coin fragments.
