Mount Little is a largely non-iced mountain in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . In the Ford Ranges it rises 5 km southwest of Mount Swan .
Participants in the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) mapped it. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1971 at the suggestion of the US polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd after Harold H. Little, a sponsor of Byrd's first (1928-1930) and second Antarctic expedition (1933-1935), which also participated in the logistic Preparations for these research trips was involved.
