Christoph Bertl
Christoph Bertl , professional name : Chris Bertl, (born August 3, 1981 in Göstling an der Ybbs ), is an Austrian pop singer , songwriter and entertainer who most recently gained particular fame through his participation in The Voice of Germany .
biography
Chris Bertl grew up as the son of Franz and Margit Bertl (née Illmayr) with his younger sister Bianca in the Scheibbs district and after a successful apprenticeship as a chef, he moved to Vienna at the age of 19 . He rediscovered his musical talent (he learned to play five instruments) in Vienna with friends and began to sing in karaoke bars . There he made friends with Tom Neuwirth , who was still unknown at the time, which significantly influenced and promoted his career as a singer. His singing skills were developed by the vocal coach Andreas Heusser, and he received his specific pop training in the “Sängerschmiede” voice factory in Vienna. From 2009 he began to participate in casting shows and competitions:

Following the success of "The Voice", Chris Bertl created the genre "Glitzerschlager", signed and promoted by Universal Music Group Germany . Apart from his solo career, he will also be a member of the disco revival band "TMCA" which consists of audience favorites from casting shows and in 2019 will contribute the title song for the new season of Let's Dance . Christoph Bertl lives in Salzburg today .
