Mount Morley is a 1550 m high mountain in the northwest of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It rises in the southern part of the Lassus Mountains .
The British geographer Derek Searle of the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped it in 1960 using aerial photographs taken by the American Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947-1948). The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1961 after the English composer Thomas Morley (≈1557-1602).
