Mount Overlook is a 2010 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Bowers Mountains, it towers north over the middle section of the Sledgers Glacier .
Malcolm Gordon Laird (1935-2015), head of the geological team who worked in this area between 1981 and 1982 as part of the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program , made the designation. It was named after the fact that the view from the top gave the team a good overview of the surrounding area.
