Mount Regulator is a 655 m high mountain on the north coast of South Georgia . It rises 1.5 km west of Right Whale Bay .
The South Georgia Survey mapped the mountain as part of its 1951-1957 survey of South Georgia. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1958 after sailing vessel regulator , the South Georgia havariert was. In 1800 Edmund Fanning found the hut abandoned by the Regulator's crew in Right Whale Bay .
