Mount Reid is a 3315 m high, mostly ice-free mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises at the head of the Cleaves Glacier in the Holland Range of the Transantarctic Mountains .
Participants in the Nimrod expedition (1907-1909), led by the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton, discovered him. The mountain is named after the British businessman Alfred Reid (1861–1957), who was the managing director of the expedition.
