Mount Reinhardt is a 1020 m high mountain with a north-east sloping rock spur on the Dufek coast of the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises up at the north-western confluence of the Good Glacier with the Ross Ice Shelf .
He was discovered during an overflight between February 29 and March 1, 1940 during the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939-1941). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 1962 after Commander Charles O. Reinhardt of the United States Navy , engineer for Operation Highjump (1946–1947) and at Little America IV station .
