Mount Rennie is a snow-covered and 1,555 m high mountain in the south of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It forms the central part of a mountain ridge that extends from Mount Français in a south-westerly direction.
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out rough surveys in 1944 and more detailed surveys in 1955. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1957 after Alexander James Rennie (* 1930), who worked as assistant geodesist for the survey at the Arthur Harbor research station in 1955 .
