Mount Skittle ( English for Kegelberg ) is a 481  m high and prominent mountain on the north coast of South Georgia . It rises on the northern reaches of Saint Andrews Bay .

The name goes back to German scientists of the International Polar Year (1882-1883) . The South Georgia Survey identified him in surveys between 1951 and 1952. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1954 translated the German name into English.
