Mount Vernon Harcourt is a 1570 m high and conspicuously conical mountain on the Borchgrevink coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises in the south-central part of the Hallett Peninsula .
The British polar explorer James Clark Ross discovered him in January 1841 during his Antarctic expedition (1839-1843). He named it after the British theologian and scientist William Vernon Harcourt (1789–1871), one of the founding fathers of the British Association .
