With a height of 1585 m, Mount Washington is one of the highest mountains on Vancouver Island in southwestern Canada. The mountain belongs to the Vancouver Island Ranges . When the weather is good, you can see both the strait between Vancouver Island and the mainland and the open Pacific from the summit. The endangered Vancouver marmot is found on the mountain.
Ski resort
Mount Washington is also the name of the ski area located on the mountain.
There are 5 lifts, 50 runs of all levels of difficulty and 30 km of trails.

Mount Washington is about 120 km as the crow flies northwest of Nanaimo and about 25 km west of Courtenay .
