Mount Wasilewski is a striking, isolated and 1615 m high mountain in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 15 km east-southeast of the Merrick Mountains .
Participants in the American Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–1948) discovered and photographed it from the air. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 after Peter Joseph Wasilewski Jr. (* 1939), a member of the teams from the University of Wisconsin who explored this area from 1961 to 1962 and from 1965 to 1966.
