Reid Hastie
William Reid Hastie (born February 11, 1947 ) is an American social psychologist who mainly deals with decision-making models. He teaches at the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and previously taught at Harvard University , Northwestern University and the University of Colorado, Boulder . He has degrees from Stanford University (bachelor's degree, 1968), the University of California at San Diego (master's degree, 1970) and Yale University (Ph.D., 1973).
In 2006 Hastie was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences .
