The Moyes Nunatak is an approximately 600 m high nunatak on the Loubet coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . On the Arrowsmith Peninsula, it rises 2.5 km south of Mount Veynberg on the western flank of the Nye Glacier .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1984 after Alastair B. Moyes of the British Antarctic Survey , who worked at the Rothera station from 1979 to 1981 and carried out surveys in this area between 1980 and 1981.
