Pee stone
At the Pinkelstein in Raschala near Hollabrunn in Lower Austria , Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is said to have knocked off his water with a big shower on a trip to Prague after a stop in the cellars of Raschala. The stone is located on the old Poststrasse, which today is one of the cellar lanes typical of the Lower Austrian Weinviertel .
According to the Weinviertel book by Karl Lukan some residents noticed during carnival in 1975 that did not have Raschala like other towns a sight. So on the trip to Prague, based on Eduard Mörike's novella Mozart, the idea of the pee stone came up. As such, a granite block from the Waldviertel was used, which was set up in the basement lane during Carnival 1976. A plaque was later attached to it describing the alleged incident in flowery language.
The pee stone is also used as an occasion for a carnival festival on Mardi Gras Sunday, which takes place every four years.
