Mozart Gurgel Valente Júnior

Mozart Gurgel Valente Júnior (born November 11, 1917 in Rio de Janeiro , † December 19, 1970 in Washington, DC ) was a Brazilian diplomat .

Life

Mozart Gurgel Valente Júnior was a son of Maria José Ferreira de Souza and Mozart Gurgel Valente. His mother's brother was Glauco Ferreira de Souza , who was ambassador to La Paz from October 25, 1958 and died there on March 21, 1959. His brothers are Murillo Gurgel Valente and Maury Gurgel Valente .

From 1942 he was Vice-Consul in the Missão Cooke (American technical mission to Brazil) led by Morris Llewellyn Cooke . and two years later in Algiers .

On January 19, 1970, he was appointed ambassador to Washington, DC , where he was accredited on February 20, 1970 and died on December 19, 1970.
