Muhammad Siddiq Borgfeldt

Muhammad Siddiq Borgfeldt (* 1944 in Berlin as Wolfgang Borgfeldt ) is a German scholar of Islam and chairman of the Haus des Islam (HDI) association, a member organization of the Central Council of Muslims in Germany , of which he was also a member.

Borgfeldt converted to Islam in 1962 and lives in Lützelbach .

In 1982 he founded the House of Islam in Lützelbach (HDI) and co-founded the Muslim Youth in Germany (MJD) in 1994 .

Borgfeldt organizes pilgrimages to Mecca and Medina . He lived from trading in perfume oils.

He is a member of the European Council for Fatwa and Research (ECFR) based in Dublin .
