Mujë Rugova
Mujë Rugova (born March 16, 1945 in Adžovici near Peć , Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia ) is a Kosovar chemist. He was the rector of the University of Prishtina from 2009 to 2012 .
Live and act
Rugova attended primary school May 1st in Haxhaj, Rugovë from 1951 to 1959 and the grammar school in Peć from 1959 to 1963 . He then completed a bachelor's degree in natural sciences and mathematics at the University of Prishtina and a master's degree from the University of Zagreb in 1978. With his dissertation: “Quantity and distribution of lead in floodplains in Kosovo”, he received a doctorate in natural sciences.
From 1970 he was a lecturer, lecturer and assistant professor. He has been a full professor since 1994 and rector of the University of Prishtina since 2009. He is also involved in the network of Balkan universities .
In addition to his native Albanian, Rugova speaks German, Serbo-Croatian and English.
