Multiplicity was founded in Milan in 2000 . The founding members are Stefano Boeri , Maddalena Bregani, Francisca Insulza, Francesco Jodice, Giovanni La Varra and John Palmesino.

Multiplicity is a constantly changing multidisciplinary network made up of architects, geographers , artists , city ​​planners , photographers , sociologists , economists , filmmakers , etc. Multiplicity invents and implements intervention strategies , workshops , installations and books about change processes in urban landscapes.

“The group produced the ID: A Journey through a Solid Sea installation shown at Documenta11 .
