Pelkum Municipality
The municipality of Pelkum was created at the municipal level in 1808 as part of the administrative reform in the Grand Duchy of Berg . The municipalities of Hamm , Rhynern and Pelkum formed the canton of Hamm .
The municipal council acted as an advisory body .
The municipality of Pelkum included the parish of Bönen , Herringen with Wiescherhöfen and the Reck court . Biermann acted as Maire (mayor).
