Murat İnan (born June 10, 1955 in Istanbul ) is a former Turkish football player . His twin brother Nejat İnan is also a soccer player.

Career

In the club

Murat İnan started his career in the youth team of Galatasaray Istanbul . For the 1973/74 season he was appointed to the 1st team and came to three league games. In the following season he won the Başbakanlık Kupası with Galatasaray , but was not used in the league. In 1975 İnan moved to Giresunspor . There he played for two years and scored eleven goals in 48 games.

After his time at Giresunspor, the striker played for one season each at Vefa Istanbul , Adanaspor and Kayserispor . In the 1980/81 season, İnan returned to Galatasaray. There he won the Turkish Supercup and Turkish Cup in the 1981/82 season . In 1983 İnan ended his career.

In the national team

İnan played for the Turkish U-21s from 1976 to 1977.
