Murat Cömert (born September 11, 1987 in Izmir ) is a Turkish football player.

Career

Cömert began with club football in the youth department of the state-sponsored sports club İzmir Gençlik Hizmetleri ve Spor İl Müdürlüğü and later went through the youth department of Göztepe Izmir . This club went through a difficult period in the mid-2000s and had to give up most of its professional players. Attempts were made to compensate for the departure of these players with players from the reserve and junior teams. In this context, Cömrt was also included in the professional squad in 2006. Here he played until 2010 and has meanwhile been loaned to the Istanbul clubs Kartalspor and Maltepespor .

For the 2010/11 season Cömert moved to the fourth division Altınordu Izmir . With his club he was the end of the season playoff winner of the TFF 3rd Lig and rose to the TFF 2nd Lig . In this league, his club missed relegation and was relegated back to the TFF 3rd Lig. In this league Altınordu was champion at the end of the season and rose again to the TFF 2nd Lig. Promoted to the 2nd league, Cömert kept his regular place and had 30 missions by the end of the season. His team also finished this league as champions and rose again to the TFF 1st Lig after 24 years of abstinence .

For the 2015/16 season he moved to third division Fethiyespor .
