The Murcray Heights are a group of distinctive and up to 3,091 m high mountains in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Royal Society Range, they loom at the southern end of Sickle Ridge .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1994 after the brothers David Guy Murcray (1924–2009) and Frank H. Murcray (1930–1992) from the University of Denver , long-time experts in infrared spectroscopic studies in Antarctica .
