The Murkwater Lake ( English for cloudy water lake ) is an oval lake on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . In the Larsemann Hills it is located in a very flat valley. A steep cliff of snow and ice rises on its north bank.
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it descriptively in 1987.
