Murray Cockburn
Murray Cockburn ( John Murray Cockburn; born October 17, 1933 in Toronto ) is a former Canadian sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .
At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 he was fifth in the 4-by-400-meter relay and reached the semi-finals over 400 m .
In 1953 he became Canadian champion over 440 yards . He set his personal best over this distance of 47.4 s (equivalent to 47.1 s over 400 m) on May 24, 1958 in Berkeley .
