The Museo Storico Alfa Romeo is the Museum of Alfa Romeo Automobiles SpA in Arese . In addition to the brand history of automotive engineering, products and projects from the company's aviation history are also shown.

history

The museum opened on December 18, 1976 and closed in February 2011 for renovation and repositioning. At the end of June 2015 it was reopened under the new name “La macchina del tempo - Museo Storico Alfa Romeo”. Shortly beforehand, the new Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan was presented here.

building

The museum is located on the former Alfa Romeo vehicle manufacturing factory, which was closed in 2003; Engines were still being built there until 2005. The exhibition area of ​​4800 m² is divided over six levels and four subject areas.
