A music locker is an online service in which users upload their music , in the form of audio files , to a central server so that they can later access it online with different end devices . The advantage of music backup in such a data cloud is that local storage of the music on the end devices is not necessary, or at most is necessary to a small extent. In spite of everything, a very large selection of music can be accessed at a lower price for the end device, or storage space is freed up for other user data and applications .
