Garmisch music band

The Garmisch music band is one of the two local music bands from Garmisch-Partenkirchen . It is a registered association based in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

The band currently has 92 active, passive and supporting members and has been musically led by music master Leszek Zebura since 2015 and was founded in 1796 according to first records. The ensemble was active at the Olympic Winter Games in 1936 : the teams of the participating nations were received at Garmisch-Partenkirchen station to the sound of the band . The band was also present at the opening ceremony and some award ceremonies.
