The Muskolkette ( Russian Музкол ) is a mountain range in the Pamir in Tajikistan .
The Muskol chain extends over a length of 110 km north of the Murgab river valley in the autonomous province of Berg-Badakhshan . In the west lies the Saressee .
The rock consists mainly of metamorphic schists . The highest peak is the 6,233 m high peak of the Soviet officers .
The mountain range has 11 peaks with heights over 6000 meters.
