Mustapha Moussa ( Arabic مصطفى موسى, DMG Muṣṭafā Mūsā ; * February 2, 1962 ) is a retired Algerian boxer. He won the bronze medal at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and the silver medal at the Pan-African Games in 1987 .

Career

In 1982 Moussa won the military world championships (-81 kg) in the light heavyweight division and in 1983 the Mediterranean Games . At the Olympic Games in 1984 he won after victories over Drake Thadzi, Malawi (5: 0), and Antony Wilson, Great Britain (5: 0), and a semi-final defeat against the eventual Olympic champion Anton Josipović , Yugoslavia (5: 0), the Olympic Bronze medal.

In 1985 Moussa was the winner of the Pan-Arab Games and in 1987 second of the Africa Games .

Between 1988 and 2004 Moussa completed four professional fights, but he lost all.
