MyOpenFactory

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

myOpenFactory is a free standard according to PAS 1074 of DIN . It is used for electronic data exchange between various ERP / PPS systems for inter-company order and project processing and is based on a standardized process and data model . myOpenFactory was primarily developed for mechanical and plant engineering .

organization

The myOpenFactory standard is the result of a project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) through the “Production and Manufacturing Technologies” (PTKA-PFT) project. The project was coordinated by two institutes at RWTH Aachen University (Research Institute for Rationalization ( FIR e.V. ) and Machine Tool Laboratory (WZL)) and supported by an interdisciplinary project consortium that promoted the development and establishment of the standard. In addition to the research institutes, this consisted of ERP providers ( Infor , proALPHA and PSIPENTA ), user companies (Burkhardt, Otto Junker , Siemens and VMT AG), the system provider T-Systems as well as the Society for Technology Transfer (GTT) and GPS Complexity Management GmbH.

The process model

The myOpenFactory process model describes the order processing sequence between customers and suppliers. Existing process standards such as RosettaNet and reference models such as the Aachen PPS model were used for the process model.

The data model

The myOpenFactory data model describes the data structures and content for the required messages and types of documents that are exchanged within the framework of inter-company order and project processing. The messages and receipts include the central documents for order processing such as inquiries, offers, orders, order confirmations or shipping notifications . In the area of identification , classification and cataloging of products and services, existing standards such as EAN , eCl @ ss and BMEcat are used. Message structures in XML format are used to map the transactions . The semantics are based on the EDIFACT standard, although myOpenFactory is limited to the 25 most important documents and messages.
