Myk Jung
Myk Jung (born July 3, 1964 in Essen ) is a German musician , book author , columnist and music editor.
Life
Myk Jung studied English , German and political science before he devoted himself full-time to being an artist.
Jung works as a musician, author, columnist and freelance editor for various music magazines.
Since 1984 he has been active in the independent music scene as a singer and front man of various bands, the best known of which is The Fair Sex . As a guest musician, Myk Jung participates in numerous musical projects.
In 2006 the first musical project under his own name was realized: the ballad album Zenith Is Decline and the accompanying single The Shine Of Her Cold Eyes .
With The Lord of the Earrings he publishes his first novel and thus also the first original German-language parody of Tolkien's trilogy The Lord of the Rings .
In 2008, Jung founded the Schementhemen reading stage , where he and Klaus Märkert read his own texts and present guests from the fields of literature, music and cabaret. The reading stage presents itself thematically as 'humorous-bizarre' and tours regularly across Germany.
