Mylius-Erichsen-Land is a predominantly non- glaciated peninsula in the Northeast Greenland National Park between the Hagen Fjord in the west / northwest and the Danmarkfjord in the east. It stretches from the Greenland Ice Sheet to Cape Rigsdagen for about 160 km. The mountainous peninsula is cut through by deep valleys such as the Zig-zag Dalen and the Norsemandal. Their largest lake is the Femte Maj Sø.

The area was discovered and mapped during the Danmark expedition in 1907 by the Danish polar explorers Ludvig Mylius-Erichsen and Niels Peter Høeg-Hagen , who perished on the way back to their base camp in Danmarkshavn, as did their Greenland dog sled driver Jørgen Brønlund .
