Näckrosen is an underground station on the Stockholm Metro . Its southern entrance is in the Råsunda district in Solna municipality , but its northern entrance is in the Storskogen district in Sundbyberg municipality . The station is served by the Blå linjen of the Stockholm metro system . It is one of the less frequented stations on the underground network. 4,000 commuters get on here on a normal working day.
The station went into operation on August 31, 1975 when the first section of the Blå linjen between T-Centralen - Hjulsta was opened. The platforms are about 21 meters underground. The station is located between the Solna centrum and Hallonbergen stations . It is around 6.5 km to Stockholm Central Station .
